Lowell's Character
One of the major themes of our work is that Lowell is a unique, little city with a "character" that is all its own. One that is not likely to be found elsewhere. Do you agree? I remember walking to Brunelle's Drugstore, in the Highlands, to test our TV tubes. The tubes were about 5 inches long and would have to be replaced. The testing machine let us know if we needed to buy a new tube or not. That was in the 1960's.
